Our Story
Some flowers grow in the harshest of conditions and some flourish in bleak environments. DVD is on a mission to share through sound the universal story of survival despite bleak conditions. To get on with it all in life and simply rock. After all, we're all in this together. And so it goes...
What Inspires Us
Despite sharing many of the same interests and pastimes, we all are inspired by different things that lead us to work together in a creative setting. Hot, dry wind. Melancholic solitude. Long dirt roads. Mojave dust stuck to your face. A need to share the music we hear in our tempered, desert hearts.
The Sound
Our music blends rock, alternative, blues, fuzz guitar and haunting vocal melodies to create a unique sound. Our lyrics are personal and inspired by our own lives. We’ve written about the entrenchment of traveling alone, crossing paths with fast ladies of the desert, strange sightings, crazy nights, young love, deafening heartbreak and life as resilient flowers finding a way to blossom again
